The Rebuild (Phase 2)

Moving from discussion to action is where your financial plan comes to life. While thoughtful planning is essential, real progress only happens when we begin implementing the strategies we’ve developed together. We’ll guide you through each step of putting your comprehensive financial plan into action, ensuring every decision aligns with your long-term goals and values.

The minimum asset size for this service is $500,000.  If your portfolio is smaller than this, we can help you implement a simple investment strategy that you can manage on your own and support you hourly as needed.

A flat annual fee, typically $8,000** per year

This fee will be paid in quarterly installments directly from your investment accounts.

Our FLAT FEE APPROACH

Traditional advisors charge fees that increase with your portfolio size, often costing $12,000-30,000 annually on a $1.5M portfolio. Our flat fee structure is different—you pay for the actual complexity of your financial needs, not the size of your assets.

*We charge an hourly rate of $300.  While we have no minimums, initial projects typically take anywhere from 12 to 40+ hours, depending on the range of questions and issues involved.  If we anticipate the project requiring significantly more than 12 hours, we will adjust our quote accordingly.

** The fee may be up to $15,000 per year if you are a business owner, have a highly structured legal estate, own private or illiquid investments, own multiple rental properties or otherwise have a lot of complexity in your financial life. We will quote you the final fee after having an introductory call.

A unique way of getting your finances in order

Our relationship begins with a unique four-step Reset process:

Step 1

Reorganize

Gain a clear picture of your resources.

Reorganize your financial life, including retitling and consolidating accounts, for a clear picture of all of your resources.

Step 2

Reassess

Evaluate near-term decisions and prioritize.

Reassess your financial priorities and consider the near term decisions necessary to align with those priorities.

Step 3

Reimagine

Define your vision, clarify your goals.

Reimagine your future based on what you value most. Clarify and create the vision you’ll work towards.

Step 4

Realign

Allocate resources to your new vision of yourself.

Realign your resources, including your money, time and energy, with your new vision of financial and life success.

A Diversified Approach to Matching Goals and Risk

Our investment approach is grounded in providing clients with strategies that prioritize long-term growth, stability, and cost-efficiency. We believe in the power of evidence-based investing, which is why we utilize low-cost, passive funds from Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA). By using DFA’s passive funds, we focus on reducing the impact of fees, taxes, and market volatility, letting you capture the potential of broad market returns over time.

________

Our clients’ assets are securely custodied (i.e. kept) at either Charles Schwab or Altruist, two industry-leading platforms that provide robust security and excellent service. Schwab brings over 50 years of custody experience and institutional-grade infrastructure, while Altruist offers a modern, digital-first experience. Both platforms provide transparent reporting and align with our commitment to cost-effective investment solutions.

By combining the robust, research-driven funds from Dimensional Fund Advisors with the reliable custody services of Schwab and Altruist, we aim to provide a streamlined, effective investment experience that helps you meet your financial goals with confidence.

How We Are Different

As a fee-only financial advisor, I operate with transparency and am compensated solely through our mutually agreed-upon fee structure. This means I never accept commissions, referral fees, or any form of third-party compensation that could influence my recommendations. Under my fiduciary commitment to you, I am legally and ethically bound to put your interests first and provide advice that serves your financial goals, not my bottom line. This transparent approach eliminates potential conflicts of interest and ensures you always know exactly what you’re paying for and why
